I go to school for psychology and have a job so I'm kind of busy but still make time for fun!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've surfed more than I have hosted but that is mostly due to me perpetually living in a teeny tiny apartment!! I keep thinking I'm saving up all my great CS experiences and one day I will have a giant home where I can return the favor and be the best host. Until then, I am still trying to find a way to fit more than one person in my kitchen at a time and eat my meals on a futon.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have surfed all up the east coast as well as throughout South America and can honestly say this website has changed the way I not only view the world but the people in it. Cliche, I know, but it's the truth!!!

Pretty much the typical cliche indie films. I'm not hard to please. My faves include: Fern Gully, The Squid and the Whale, Is Anybody There, Waking Life, I Heart Huckabees, 500 days of Summer, Enlighten Up!,
Zach Galifianakis live at the Purple Onion ...oh whats that? yeah I knew who he was before the Hangover.

Music..."I like everything"
The first cd I bought at 10 was Neil Young's Harvest and that ignited my relationship with music.
Since then I evolved and some would even say regressed...

My most popular likings include: Black Flag, The Clash, Springsteen, Matt and Kim, Ella Fitzgerald, SWANS, Neutral Milk Hotel, Fugazi, Tom Waits, Metallica.

Books...
I really like Emerson and Thoreau, Palahniuk,Deepak Chopra, Elizabeth Gilbert, Chris Bachelder, Noah Levine, Jonah Lehrer Scientific Mind. Typically anything about the brain, psychology, morality, life philosophy type stuff. Make me think.
