Overview
About Me
My name is Lauren and I am a graduate/paralegal from the UK, now studying to become an English teacher. I am currently travelling across the beauty of Southeast Asia and have fallen in love with it and it's people.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It's not the things we do in life that we regret; it's the things we don't do.
I quit my job to travel and see the world because I fully believe that there is more to life than the nine to five. I wanted to break out of that mindset, challenge myself, seek new experiences, indulge in the beauty of nature and, of course, meet wonderful people from all walks of life.
I am in love with the travel lifestyle: the exchange of cultures, norms, language, food, music, art, styles... and of course the wonder and excitement of exploring a new landscape or city. I am passionate about learning, meeting new people and challenging myself; therefore, my hope is that Couchsurfing will put me in touch with welcoming locals who can give me a taste of what it's like to live and work in a country. At the very least, I hope that Couchsurfing can be a catalyst in helping me to connect with people during my travels who I can have great experiences and build strong friendships with.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Going to an elephant sanctuary outside of Chiang Mai to meet, feed, play with and generally just adore the elephants was an unreal experience which I will never forget.
Teach, Learn, Share
I am learning to be an English teacher, which is perhaps something I can share with you!
What I Can Share with Hosts
As stated above, I am currently studying online towards becoming an English teacher whilst travelling around Southeast Asia, so I'd be more than happy to help with any English language practice.
