ABOUT ME

I grew up in Staten Island and live in Manhattan with my soon to be hubby. Some of my interests are playing/watching poker, football (NY Jets!), basketball (Warriors!), and playing the drums in Rock Band. When I have the chance I go to yoga classes and meditate. I like to cook (and eat!) and recently started making wine which is so much fun! I love to hike and just enjoy being outdoors. I am spontaneous and try to travel both locally and abroad whenever possible.

PHILOSOPHY

There are so many beautiful things in this world that people often do not take the time to see. Though difficult at times, I try to see past the stresses in life from work and outside sources and enjoy the little things.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I heard about couch surfing from a friend and am excited for the chance to meet new people! I love to travel and think this is such a great way to do so more often without breaking the bank. I hope to be able to accommodate guests again in the near future.

Interests

As you can see, I am a foodie and love to cook/eat. I'm interested in finance and the stock markets. I also love to play drums in the game rock band (I was meant to be a rock star), go to science lectures at the planetarium, and am an avid reader.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like an eclectic mix of music, from hard rock to trance to hip hop and everything in between. When it comes to books I love fantasy series' (like Harry Potter, Pendragon, The Name of the Wind, and Pullman's dark works) and educational/motivational books like Eat,Pray,Love, Rich Dad/Poor Dad, The Tipping Point, etc. When it comes to movies, I admittedly am a sucker for chick flicks and comedies, and my favorite movies are Interstellar, Pulp Fiction, The Matrix trilogy, Sex and the City (1 AND 2), and The Godfather trilogy, among MANY others.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The Alps on a boat ride through Lake Como. The Manhattan skyline from my old apartment window. Roadtrip down the coastline of California, especially Big Sur. More to come in our upcoming travels!
