Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Learning to bake bread good enough for Germany.
ABOUT ME
I'm originally from the UK, but I met and married a Canadian, which goes a long way towards explaining what I'm doing in Grande Prairie.
I studied languages at university then spent a year in China learning Mandarin. I often wish I'd never left, but the Canadian wilderness was just too tempting: so here I am, though I don't get to go camping as often as I'd like.
PHILOSOPHY
This is a topic definitely best discussed over a beer.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I hiked from the Salween to the Mekong river valley in the rainy season, without a map, equipped with a $10 tent, a few eggs, a potato, and a packet of instant noodles.
Also, I cycled into Tibet illegally. But that's not as cool as it sounds.
Countries I’ve Visited
Bosnia and Herzegovina, Czech Republic, France, Hungary, Italy, Laos, Netherlands, Poland, Russian Federation, Serbia, Ukraine
Countries I’ve Lived In
Brazil, China, Germany, United Kingdom
