Once upon a time dozens of strangers showed me the the definition of selflessness when they welcomed me into their homes and allowed me a peek into their lives. There's a difference between tourist and traveller and couch surfing showed me that. Now that I am a home-owner (condo) it's high time I repaid that kindness.

I feel like I am the type of person that is really easy to get along with. I like to try and find the fun/positive in any situation. I love animals, mostly of the furry variety. I love to sing - especially in the car on the road and the occasional karaoke song never hurt anyone. Full disclosure: country music + Adele = my life.

I HAVE A SHELLFISH ALLERGY! - Something I sometimes forget to share.

I have a condo with an extremely comfortable sectional couch that could easily sleep 2. If you have your own bedding/air mattress I can most certainly accommodate more than 2 I just don't want someone stuck on the floor. I have extra bedding/pillows. Building has laundry on site (pay per use - but you're welcome to use) and relatively close to major shopping and areas of the city. I work downtown M-F but my job is awesome and I can be flexible on start/end time and am happy to give you a lift. The public transport in Winnipeg is mediocre at best but there is a bus route that runs right in front of my building. Any questions - let me know!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

In 2013-2014 I packed up my car and drove around North America for 9 months. I wouldn't have been able to see the things I saw, do the things I did, or make the friends that I still have to this day if it wasn't for couch surfing.

20+ hosts around the continent showed me kindness and friendship when I needed it most. It's my turn to do the same.
