My name is Lauren and I'm a freelance copywriter and designer from Portland, Oregon. I design a line of greeting cards called My Front Paws and write copy for business websites, but am most passionate about pursuing a career in photography. Last year I made the leap across the pond to be with my fiancé, Shimon and our sweet Collie, Annie Hall, and we've lived in several parts of Europe since.

I enjoy all genres of music, minus most country and metal. I like music that transports me to another era; funky sounds from The Bee Gees or Leon Haywood, could listen and dance to Louis Armstrong or Django Rheinhardt all day long.

Classic films like Annie Hall, Breakfast at Tiffanys, and Some Like it Hot are a few favourites. Otherwise comedies and cheesy, poorly-made films are my go-to.

Tom Robbins and Gregory David Roberts are among my favourite authors. I probably read too much news.
