About Me
hello,
My name is Laurent from France, but I know that for some languages this first name is difficult to pronounce, you can call me LOLO, it's my international first name.
I am a professional photographer and photography teacher. At the moment I am an expatriate in Thailand. I am someone who likes the pleasures that life offers without worrying too much. I love humour, movies, music, good food, good drinks and hiking. But what I love most of all is discovering new things. I am a very curious person who always wants to learn a lot. I always ask a lot of questions. From a general point of view I like everything and I am always positive. All experiences are good to take even if they are difficult. I like physical activities as much as relaxing for hours doing nothing on the beach. But personally when I'm at the sea I like to make sand castles. I'm not a vegan, but I love animals and I have an ecological philosophy. Not eating meat doesn't bother me and I love vegetables.
I am a beginner on this site, yet in my collocations I have often hosted couchsurfer but it was always with the account of my roommates.
During my travels I often slept in a local's house, but it was often by spontaneous waivers in a bar, or via friends of friends.
Yes, I like travelling.
I speak French a little bit of German, Italian and Thai
I love cooking for others. If you want to discover French cuisine, I will be happy to cook for you!
I don't smoke cigarettes, but in some countries I like to taste local cultures like chicha in Tunisia or coffeshop in Amsterdam.
Let's meet!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I'm on this site, to plan my trip a little in advance. As I said above, in general I go on an adventure and when I meet an indigenous person who agrees to let me discover his culture, I go to his house.
I love going to people's homes because I think the inside of a house reflects a personality. It is always a very enriching experience to share.
Music, Movies, and Books
I have to admit, I'm not very into books. But for the rest (music, movies) I am a very open-minded person, I like almost everything, I certainly have some preference but it turns according to my mood. One of my roommates was always surprised because I can go from a Korn album to a Lady Gaga album.
