Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I was born in Romania, but at the age of 11 I had to move to Italy. Aside from living in another country though, I've never actually traveled anyware and I feel like I've been missing out on something. I would say that I am on Couchsurfing because I am ready to step out of my confort zone and see a different side of humanity.

I am very passionate about psychology and for anyone interested I have a lot to share in that regard.
I love martial arts and I used to be a practitioner myself (thai boxe and eskrima). I also love the philosophy behind it and eastern phylosophy in general.
I like movies and I watch a lot of video analysis/video-essays on the topic. I could probably gush about my favourites for days!
I would like to know more about foreign culture, language, music, dancing and cooking. I used to help in a kitchen as a part time job, so I would love to expand that skill.

My gratitude, although it might sound a little cliché. That being the starting point, I belive that every encounter in life is different, and as such what I can give depends on the type of bond that is formed. I'll always try to maintain an open mind and try to give back though.
