About Me
CURRENT MISSION
I am trying to collect Oral Histories from around the world, and spread the active ideology of Eco-feminism.
ABOUT ME
I tattooed Esperanza on my wrist in Portugal. I found a new light for life again when I lived in Spain. I am enthralled with human beings and the earth and life. I dance around in kitchens more than I cook, although I love that too. Conversations should rival the richness of food but not be overbearing. I think there is so much to learn from others and hearing about personal experiences makes this wide world more real. I happen to reside in cafes or street corners, always with my camera. Sometimes poetry escapes my lips, sometimes I laugh at the world. I love to laugh, I love to experience fully, I love people, I hate writing these things. I'd love to meet you, whoever you are...
PHILOSOPHY
You are the only thing that holds you back in this world.
Someday my dreams won't be defined by my pocketbook but the power of my imagination.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I first couchsurfed in Norway and Barcelona while living in Spain! Unfortunately I live in a house where I can't host others but as soon as I have my own place and don't live in a dorm I will be hosting lots of travelers to pay it forward and show off Seattle! I really have found that I enjoy couchsurfing wayyy more than staying in hostels, and on this 6 month journey we are trying to surf as much as possible because we love to meet people more than see monuments.
Interests
When I am alone or with friends I love dancing, sailing, swimming, reading, talking to people, making others laugh, skiing, playing music, listening to music (jazz!), running, painting, and hiking.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Seeing Oslo where my ancestors are from, visiting the Roman Forum and Ceasar's grave, spending sleepless nights with strangers in hostels and staying friends forever, Seeing the sunset in the Westernmost part of Europe and trying to imagine Colón leaving for the new world, going to Morocco, seeing the point where the Mediterráneas and Atlantic combine, dreaming in Spanish. Seeing Israel and having a vision on Christ's grave where some eerie voice told me you don't have to be a Christian to change humanity...
Teach, Learn, Share
I will learn from anyone anywhere and I am very open to being wrong. I love learning from completely different cultures and I am not certain that the Western lifestyle is the one in which I'd like to live. I am especially open to listening to and learning about local politics and culture! Right now I am currently trying to learn as much about the origins of environmentalism abroad and in my own country.
