CURRENT MISSION
see the world, spread the love, get groovy wit it
ABOUT ME
I like the big things and the little things, the crazy adventures and the cozy meetings with good people. Life's about the story, and I want a great one.
I'm also a 10-year vegetarian (UPDATE: now pescatarian for the past 3 years! I eat seafood!), which sometimes catches some couchsurfing hosts off-guard, but I'm easygoing enough that it's never a huge deal. I promise, you won't even notice!
PHILOSOPHY
In general: Live and let live. And as I learned from my friends in Marrakesh, Inshallah!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have couchsurfed with friends and solo throughout Europe and in Morocco and Hawaii (and now, Korea!), and have had several amazing and unforgettable experiences meeting my hosts and being introduced to their cities through the eyes of locals. It's really a great way to meet new people and see parts of the world that I wouldn't have been able to see otherwise.
Interests
I'm addicted to traveling, and love meeting new people and hearing their adventures. Everyone has something to share and I'm happy to be an open ear for a friend!

Music, Movies, and Books
Anything from motown to 90s gangster rap to postpunk to psychedelic rock to various strains of electro to that insane and sassy super-queen Britney Spears (guilty). I just love when she tells me to get to work and calls me a bitch, I'm only human.
For movies and books--anything worth analyzing into oblivion, bawling my eyes out to, or boasting some bad-ass warrior chicas!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
One of the most amazing summers of my life was during my time studying in Thailand. I played with baby tigers and elephants, swam under waterfalls and went bamboo rafting in the jungle, gobbled up waterbugs and silkworms, downed shots of cobra whiskey and village moonshine, woke up at dawn to walk to temples and meditate as the sun rose. It was a life-affirming balance of wild and unforgettable party nights and peaceful meditation that gave me the travel bug I haven't yet managed to lose.
Teach, Learn, Share
Let's learn about beer together! Months of living in the Czech Republic, home of Pilsner (though I don't like Pilsner) will do that to you. Any beer aficionados want to come and give me a lesson is a major plus. I like beer, you like beer, so hey, let's like it together!
