ABOUT ME

Lauren Holbrook (July 25th, 1989- August 2021)
Born and raised in a smallish-mediumish-biggish city in the Yankee state where "soda" is pronounced like "pop"-- Ohio is the place you can occasionally find her. Sometimes. Maybe. Despite what you may have heard, Lauren is most certainly not a government spy nor has she/would she EVER write an autobiography at the age of 16, and then continue using it into her 20s. Similarly, she has never been part of a crazy, covert operation that leaked, causing her to live out the rest of her life under an unassumed name (like, say, "Lauren Holbrook.") She's not exactly sure where people get these ideas... Lauren enjoys freezing cold, late night romps at Lakeview, sandwiches, and cerebral frollicking. Her turn-offs include men with big egos and small dogs. Lauren lusts for Mozart, James Bond, and the great literary villians. Her dream in life is to be a professional marker-color-namer. In her spare time, she enjoys writing e-mails to long lost relatives about real and fictitious adventures she's had. She walks, talks, sleeps, dances, breaths, and skips to the beat of her own accordion. She really loves The Great Gatsby, but really hates Nickelback. If you didn't read this out loud, in a deep voice, with heavy mechanical breathing, then you did it all wrong, and I suggest you try it again.
This was based on a true story.

Crashing at your house. Letting you crash at mine. Running with the local CSers when I get a chance.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Awesome. Weirdos, limos, cool places, cooler people, good beer, good pizza, good times had by all, mental breakdowns, physical breakdowns, emotional breakdowns, car breakdowns, not enough sleep, too much of everything else, topped off with a run-in with the police (charged with being too awesome to function and let off with a warning.) The makings of a best-selling book. I hope. For the sake of paying my rent. Thanks for asking.
