Overview
About Me
Our names are Pauline and Lauric, we are both French who lived in Canada for 8 months after traveling on the east coast of the USA.
We left our apartment in Québec City to hitchhike across United States, Mexico and Guatemala.
Pauline: I'm almost 25, from Brest, the west coast of France. I graduated from a Master's degree in International Management in 2016 and went to Canada with a Working Holiday Visa in January 2017. Before that, I lived in Bangkok, Thailand for 3 months for an internships in a travel agency, in Peru for 3 months during a humanitarian mission with children, and in Turkey for 2 months for a summer job.
Lauric: I'm 26, from the suburbs of Paris. I graduated from Master's degree in Destination Management in september 2017. I went to Canada to fulfill an internship in an event agency. I lived in Dublin, Ireland for 9 months for an insurance company. I did all my studies in the tourism business and I love to travel.
We took the road on the 30th of september, 2017 with no plans and just our backpacks! We are hoping to meet a lot of people and live crazy adventures.
We are easy going, positive and smiling people! We like to hang out, drinking a glass of wine talking all night, partying... just enjoy life! :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
We want to discover more than just the touristic places, we want to meet locals, discover secret spots and live the place to the fullest!
This is our beginnings on CSing but we believe in the sharing opportunity that CSing gives to the community.
Interests
We love to try and learn new things, we love singing really bad on dumb songs, we love traveling and visit new places. We also like taking pictures, cooking, and we LOVE wine (especially red, from all over the world).
We like nature as much as big cities, and we enjoy going hiking in the mountains whenever we can.

Music, Movies, and Books
Pauline:
- Music: My tastes in music are very colorful, I enjoy the electronic chill out vibes as much as the international pop songs. I also like the 90's us and french music.
- Books: I don't read as often as I would...but I like the polar style and authors as Harlan Coben or Gillian Flynn.
- Movies: I like the classics from Quentin Tarentino, Paul Verhoven and Christopher Nolan etc. I also love the dramas, especially those from Xavier Dolan, Fabienne Berthaud, Matthieu Kassovitz, Jacques Audiard etc. Well, I have to say that I also enjoy animation movies!
Lauric:
- Movies: my favorite movie is The Godfather, I also like Star Wars movies.
- Books: I read a lot, especially about geopolitcs (mostly French academics on the Middle East), it allows me to understand the world that we live in, and the relationships between the countries. I also read novels, my favorite author of all time is Victor Hugo.
My current book: On the road from J. Kerouac.
-Music: I listen mostly to old school hip hop but I also like reggae and some pop songs from time to time.
We also watch some tv shows together such as Narcos, Designated Survivor, The Shield, Friends, The Night of, Game of Thrones etc.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Watching a whale come out of the ocean right next to our boat in Canada, such a magic moment!
Teach, Learn, Share
Cooking French dishes (or at least try), talk about life, the places we visited.
Also, if you're planning a trip to Paris, we would love to recommend you places to go!
What I Can Share with Hosts
We're very flexible so we can adapt ourselves to your schedule!
We like learning about other people's experiences not only in traveling but in their lives, everyone has an interesting story to share.
