About Me

Hi ! I'm a French student currently in a Master of communication... But I'm doing an internship in a radio station at the moment and I fell in love with journalism ! I love hearing people stories and putting them into words. Is there a greater feeling than that ? Being able to meet so many different people and share their lives for a moment. Now I can say that I am a journalist (I don't have my journalist card but I'm working on it, don't worry !)

I want to travel all around the world, work in different countries, and meet new people with whom I can exchange.
My greatest experience was last year (I can't believe it's been a year already...) when I stayed a whole year studying in the US, in Indiana specifically. It was such an amazing experience for me, so if you want to hear about all my stories, don't hesitate to ask !

For now, I mostly visited European countries around France, but it's only the beginning. I'm waiting for my next adventure and see where life will bring me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've known about Couchsurfing by a friend who used it before going to university. He told me great stories about this app and the people he met in the US so I decided to give it a try.
Couchsurfing is the best way to meet people and show me around while staying in the city. If you want to see some of the people I share a few days with, you can go to my gallery and you'll see some of your American couchsurfing's mates !
We learn so much being close to people. It's the best lesson of life, people have so much to offer and tell!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music is everything for me, I always have music on. I love every kind of music, especially reggae.
My favorite artists are Naâman, Jahneration, Dub Inc, Stick Figure.
I also love the old English music such as Aretha Franklin, Elton John, Queen, The Beatles, Stevie Wonder.

Favorite books: Me before you, The count of Monte-Cristo, El lector de Julio Verde, L'américaine, Hunger Games

Favorite movies: The Impossible, Divergent (only the first one), Four Weddings and a Funeral, Before I fall, Ma première fois, Love Actually, Dead Poets Society, The Maze Runner

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One amazing thing I've seen: Parisians tourists arguing between themselves on who was there first and who will get the last table with a sea view at the restaurant (sorry Parisians but it's true)! At least it gives a little of spectacle during the shift.
Apart from this joke, I can say that I see the sunshine every night in my hometown as I live by the ocean. It's not much, but little things can be the most enjoyable in life!

Update 2023 : Hiking in the Grand Canyon in Arizona. Can't even describe how an amazing feeling it was

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have a small apartment, so it's kinda complicated to offer a place here in Dijon, but don't hesitate to reach out if you want to grab a drink or a coffee while in the city. Once I'll have a bigger place, don't worry, I'll offer a space for my fellow couchsurfers
