I have Asperger's syndrome. This means I can sometimes act a little strange. But I think it's part of what makes me fun to be around. I make friends easily & I'm always remembered by people. The most important thing to know is that I'm always honest, sometimes to a fault.

I owned an antiques/vintage/curios shop in Yuma, AZ. Laurie's Rabbit Hole LLC. I closed the physical storefront in 2015 & plan to work strictly on eBay from home. I'm a top rated seller there with over 1000 unique 100% positive feedbacks. So, it's good to know I'm a trusted businesswoman.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to travel & explore new things. I'm a complete nut for roadside attractions, like the worlds largest whatever & such.

I want to visit all 50 states before I'm 50. That gives me 1 1/2 years to get the east coast covered.

I'm disabled so my income is very limited. But I have plenty of time on my hands, and I'm always willing to share that.

Music, Movies, and Books

Love all music, but my favorites are rock, blues, soul, R&B from the 70's. I've been to some amazing concerts in my time. Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, Eric Clapton, David Bowie, X, Grateful Dead to name a few.

I'm a movie fanatic. I have over 4000 movies in my personal collection. I average over 400 movies a year easily. Some favorites include The Big Chill, Secretary, Flash Gordon, Phantom of The Paradise (Love Paul Williams!).

I use to read quite a bit, but I've found it difficult to concentrate these days. I have a collection of signed and/or first editions mostly horror. Newest addition to my collection is a signed Stephen King! But I also love Dostoyevsky. I believe the main character in The Idiot had Asperger's Syndrome.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

OH WOW! This is a hard one. I've done a lot by most standards. I'll have to think about this one.

But I will say that lately I've been very proud of myself for running a successful business.
