My name is Pei Yu (Yu pronounce like ü in German). Pei Yü not pay you. If you have trouble saying my name, just call me Laurie, or simply LEE is fine.

I have been to 38 countries by now, went backpacking most of the time. Never occurred to me to join the CS community until I met some CSers lately in Taiwan, my home country. Probably should've joined the community sooner so I could meet more locals while I was travelling and get chance to know more about their culture and traditions.

I worked for corporate venture capital for several years but currently I'm taking some time off from the job. Now I have more time to explore this world and enjoy life. I've recently been certified as a tour guide in Taiwan. I would like to show the beauty of Taiwan to the world and to the people whether they are visiting Taiwan, about to visit Taiwan, or even never heard of Taiwan.

I like wine tasting, both red wines and white wines. I also love cocktails but not a fan of beer. I play tennis and squash. My favorite tennis player is the GOAT Roger Federer. I enjoy hiking the trails and recently fell in love with snorkeling.

I lived in the Netherlands from 2012 to 2015. Been to at least 20 European countries during that time. Never been to Africa or South America. Would like to check them out some time in the near future.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Made my 30th birthday a 30-hour day by flying from Asia to Europe, gaining myself extra 6 hours. Saw Starlink satellite train in Tekapo, New Zealand. Been on a helicopter with alpine landing. Watched the GOAT Roger Federer play at Wimbledon centre court in person.
