Overview
About Me
I'm currently a student in 'Inequality and Social Sciences' at London School of Economics. I'm into many things but in short I'd say music, arts, radical politics, decolonial studies, hiking, traveling... I've lived throughout my life in many places amongst which Guadeloupe (I'm from there), Tahiti, Paris, Johannesburg and now London - which probably means that I have a very good sense of adaptation and an ability to feel comfortable in vary different cultural contexts.
I consider myself very open-minded, easy going, very curious. I love intellectual conversations and hearing about other people's worldviews, their dreams, their relationships, or simply how they experience traveling if that's something they're into.

Music, Movies, and Books
I really like jazz, soul, hip-hop, indie music.. Live acoustic music is what I tend to prefer though.
I also really like afro-caribbean literature but I do read all sorts of novels and poetry from time to time.
I also read a lot of political, postcolonial/decolonial, inequalities study literature because of my studies (and I actually do love that as well).
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I lived in South Africa I got to travel around the region and I keep amazing memories of this. I visited in a year various parts of South Africa itself but also discovered Namibia, Lesotho, Mozambique, Swaziland and Botswana. That was a truly incredible adventure, most of the time with just a backpack and very loose plans.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can share my passion for politics, decolonial/postcolonial studies, my knowledge of the french Caribbean culture, as well as of France and the UK... But I mostly like talking about life in general actually, and hearing about other people's experience of it. I like meeting people who feel passionate and curious about the world around them and there is always something to learn from each other in that sense.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Nice tips about places I'd be visiting and their perspective on the local life there ! But mostly I'd really like to share a nice connection with my host, and maybe get to invite them to London as well if we do get along well.
