About Me
Hi, I'm Laurie, a smiling person who appreciate the small things in life. Respectful, easy-going and curious about people.
After three years living in Montreal and studying in Sciences of communication, I went back to France and got a master’s degree in cultural development in Avignon.
And then, covid. I learned to bake bread, worked at my dad's farm, watched the birds and wrote an illustrated book called "Journal d'une passagère".
I started my first official work this year, in a cultural and artistic coop in Aveyron, the region where I was born. I'm living with my girlfriend in a small house in the countryside. We have a guest room for the first time so we can host traveler with pleasure :)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
During my stay in Canada, I travelled across this huge country hitchhiking and doing some wwoofing, from Vancouver Island to St. John's in Newfoundland. I have been host by couchsurfers and it was a really nice experience. Back to my home, I'm glad to host and help some travelers in my turn.
Interests
I'm really interested on art and culture. I enjoy to discover new artist, to spend my time in shows, cinema or theater. I love music and I play a little bit of guitar/ukulele. I also like to write, to hike, to cook organic/veggie/local food or just discuss about life around a beer or more ;)
