My name's Laurie, 33 years old - I’m single, jobless and technically homeless, but the happiest I’ve ever been!

I spent the last ten years working my way up the corporate ladder and have decided to take some time out to travel the planet a little and think about what I want to do next.

I've recently started a blog (www.allmyheroesareweirdos.com) which started off as "doing good stuff to be a better me" and has turned into a bit of an online diary of the solo traveller. I'm writing about my continued focus on self-improvement whilst having adventures and encountering Heroes along the way.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have Wanderlust in my DNA, I love meeting new people and learning about new cultures, languages and cuisines. I'm also pretty independent so I do also enjoy wandering around new places with nothing but my own thoughts.
