About Me

ABOUT ME

I love to share languages, experiences, ideas, knowledges, everything that is non commercial!
I'm always interested in other's stories.
There are so many things that I like to do!
One of my other passion is to learn about the different languages. Learning a new language means learning a new culture and open your mind to something different.

I really enjoy outdoors activities. In the summer I go camping/road trip as much as I can. I try to hike at least once a week with my dog.

PHILOSOPHY

Trying to be happy and enjoy life :)
I feel like the world is a great place to travel :p

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I knew about the "couchsurfer thing" when I was in France. I really discovered what it was when I was living in Utah. That's a great community! I've host and surfed. I love both. I'll be happy to help somebody here in State College as well as meet new people who relate to this philosophy of travel.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have surfed and host. I became really good friend with some of my host or guests and I hope to keep that experience positive as long as I can!

Interests

I'm a chatty girl so I could easily make a list, but it will be so long that it would be boring! We've got to talk with a coffee or a glass of wine (depends on the hour) ;)

Music, Movies, and Books

Ooohh. that's a tricky one.
I read a lot because of my PhD (french and francophone literature).
I would say that when it comes to movies or music, I really have eclectic tastes! For music, it's usually old (60's 70's 80's), but I do enjoy good heartfelt recent music and mostly live music! Especially if it's not just covers. For movies it goes from "Sundance Movie Festival" to Hollywood commercial movies.
Depending on my mood.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: that's what I love to do. Out of my classroom I really try not to be condescending. I can teach French, give you few informations about some famous painters, historical facts...

Learn: everyday, from everyone.
Please, tell me what you know! I wanna know it too!

Share: anything with anybody.
Let's share it all by sharing our time with a good coffee.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share a good conversation and time to discover the area together! I have a car so we can go to many places together!
