CURRENT MISSION

My mission, should I choose to accept it, is to live life as fully as possible for the time I have on the planet.

ABOUT ME

I am a full time artist having been raised by artists. Currently we live in rural TN where I have a full ceramic studio, vegetable garden and woods to roam in. I love being by the ocean, traveling, meeting new people and experiencing different cultures.
My husband's first love is SCCA auto racing, He is an engineer by training and spent many years working in commercial construction. We have 2 grown children and one 14 month old grandchild.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe in the 'pay it forward' philosophy. I feel if I am can maintain a positive outlook on life, it will help bring positive things into my life. Life is about the journey, not the destination.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I would like to both host and couch surf.
We have traveled to Europe, United Kingdom and Iceland as well as in the United States. We would love to meet people that could give us insight to other places we might like to visit. We would enjoy sharing our experiences with other travelers.
We have a home we are willing to share with travelers who want to experience the rural south and its beauty.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have done some surfing with my daughter (she also has an account that is active, we are all in the same unit here in Sparta). She and I stayed with some really nice people in Colorado who were very interesting and generous.

I love to read, listen to music, travel, meet new people, spend time with friends, continue on my spiritual and personal journey through this life time. My husband loves auto racing, photography, reading and traveling.
We are both happy to share lively conversation.

I like edgy movies like Pulp Fiction, Fargo, Grosse Point Blanc - Johnny Depp, John Cusack.
Books - almost anything from classics to mysteries (no romance). I err on the side of fiction, and my husband on the side of non fiction
Music - classic rock, blues, jazz, indie.

Raised amazing children.
I create a body of ceramic work and recently have been working with sculpture of African Animals.
My husband races, he has an open cockpit, open wheel Formula V (he goes for more of the thrills)

Enseignez, apprenez, partagez

I have a lot of knowledge about special needs children, art and my husband can fix machines, work with metal and wood.
We have traveled to Europe and are very interested in expanding our speaking abilities in German, Spanish, and French. Please teach us!
We have knowledge of TN and the area surrounding where we live and can direct you on good places to hike and visit nearby. I have lived and traveled in a lot of places in and outside the USA and might be able to help fellow travelers with ideas of places to go.
