ABOUT ME

I'm 26 years young, I work in childcare which is a job I enjoy and is very rewarding! I lived in a small town in Kent called Biggin Hill up until I was 24 when I moved to Bournemouth, which is where I still reside and think I will do for the rest of my life because I love it here! My brother lives here too with my sister in law and my 2 nephews who I get to see a lot more of now I live here! I am a very down to earth and laid back person and since coming bk from travelling Thailand, have become very interested in Buddhist practices so am beginning to make friends with some Buddhists and getting involved in meditation and attending talks and spiritual practices by Buddhist monks in the Buddhist centre we have here in Bournemouth.

PHILOSOPHY

I live my life so i can try and be the best person i can possibly be and to have fun along the way! As simple as that!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I participate by helping out a fellow traveller on the road. I have used couch surfing to surf before but have only just got a place of my own to be able to host people so now I am paying back thanks by helping travellers out in the same way I was helped out.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Apart from surfing friends sofas I have only had 1 surfing experience from this website. It was when I was in Austria, 4 Romanian girls hosted me. They were all so lovely and although a lot of them had work and college during the day, they spent as much time with me outside of work as they could. It was a very positive experience. They told me lots about the city they lived in and showed me around as much as they could and took me to bars and places etc. I loved my first proper couch surfing experience!

Interests

I love going out and socialising and making new friends. I love to travel, and to see and explore new places and see what everywhere and everyone has to offer. I love music and films!

Music, Movies, and Books

Equilibrium, Shaun of the dead, any kind of comedy or any film that makes me think are keen favourites too.

I like all ranges of music, everything from Rock to jazz! The classics such as GnR, Pink Floyd and REM are always good, i also like MCR, Fallout Boy, The killers... and loads more!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most amazing thing i've ever done i think has to be the skydive i did for charity a few years ago. The best feeling i've ever had, what a rush! The views were amazing! Apart from that the bungee jump was pretty amazing and just travelling holds some of the best memories for me, the places I went to, the people I met and the friends I made hold the best place in my heart.
