ABOUT ME

Hi !
I am Laurie, I come from France. I grew up in Montelimar (southern France). I studied in Montpellier and then in Lyon. I have a Master's degree in communication and marketing strategy (Valedictorian),specially in digital and political marketing.
I've decided to leave from France to Canada with JB my boyfriend for 5 years (28, graphic designer from France)so we arrived in Vancouver BC with a WHV in May 2013. Our goal was to discover Canada as much as possible! After 4 months in Vancouver,we planned to move to Eastern Canadian Coast at the end of August. We've stayed in Toronto ON a few days - + niagara Falls. This was our first experience as Couchsurfers, with Aamar ... such an amazing story !! Then (despite our love at first sight with Toronto) we settled in Montreal at the beginning of September.
JB has found a job position as creative designer in a graphic studio in Montreal, I'm still looking for a job as a communication manager. But, I take time to enjoy my life here and to take care of me.

I am very friendly, I love have fun, laughing,geek stuffs, reading, writing, make photos (mmh I try ^^), visual arts, comics,journeys, movies, cultural stuffs, History (specially WW2), Advertising culture, lolcat (yep I do confess!!), fashion and luxury business industry, bags, fitness, meditation, yoga (beg), homeopathy, alternative medicine, spirituality. I love food, cooking, Italian food (My mother's family is from Torino), healthy food, gluten free, tasting fine wine.
My way of life is to make everyday count and get richer than before my meeting new people, travelling, discover new things, landscapes, respect oneself and people etc...

JB is some kind of a geek, loves comics, Japanese culture and food, Japan, travels, visual arts, partying, fine wine, movies. He travelled in Japan, USA.

We're both fans of comics, The Walking Dead, Mad Men, Big Bang Theory (our religion!), Dexter, house of Cards, Game of Thrones, classics French and American movies, visual arts.
