CURRENT MISSION

We are learners. We are curious. Meeting new people who are willing to slow down and talk about their lives is our mission in joining couch surfing. We laugh and tease a lot. We eat meals together - usually 7 or more of us around the table.

ABOUT ME

A fun family, that's active, loves meeting new people and is usually noisy. But honestly, at night we're quiet and we sleep!

We are crazily committed to eating good food. We try to cook most everything from scratch and, depending on the season, it's food we grew on our little farm.

We just excavated as swimming hole in our back yard - hoping to swim in it in the coming summer months!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We've had lots of people sleep over at our place. It's rare to find others who are open to sharing their home with the 6 of us at once but we're really adaptable.

We've slept together on a bamboo floored hut, at high elevations, with no bedding (it was very cold) and for the most part we considered that an enriching and positive experience.

We talk about food, our own little farm, cooking, the lives of our 4 kids at school, global trade, latest events, our interesting neighbours and what's changing in the world around us.

do you want to learn how to make cheese using milk from our cow? Yup, we do that here. We play a lot of games - maybe you can teach us a new one. If it's warm outside you'll likely be asked to play soccer with us.
