About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Travel the world and find a job in New Zealand.

ABOUT ME

I'm pretty outgoing, open to try new things and eager to learn about other cultures.
I was an Economics student in Belgium, figured out too late that this isn't what I want with my life and hope to find what I do want on my discovery of the world.
I love dry humor and sarcasme and have a passion for diving and pretty much any other outdoors activity (which is why I love this Aussie weather!!)>

PHILOSOPHY

Go day by day and enjoy it to the fullest! Try as many new things as possible!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I only just started travelling and I have to say I totally fell in love with it!! I love meeting all sorts of people from all over the world, as I feel it broadens and opens the mind.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Only did it once so far. It was an amazing experience! Very lucky though I think, had my own room and the guy took me and two other couchsurfers on a 4 day roadtrip around the island that is Bali.

Interests

Nature, local cultures, and being belgian I love me a good beer :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I loooove watching movies with a good glass of wine! Pretty much any genre, it's quality I'm after (same in music. not fan of die hard metal though...)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The last two years have been so wild, hard to only name one so here is my top 5:

1) Canyoning in Karijini National Park, a hidden gem in Western Australia. This was in my first month of travelling but it is still my number 1! So remote and untouched, stunning.

2)Great White shark cage dive in South Australia. In total awe of these mysterious creatures! One to scrap off of my bucketlist.

3)Scenic flight over the Whitsunday Islands and the Great Barrier Reef, also went diving there.

5)Gibbon Experience in Laos. Ziplining through the Laos jungle in search of Gibbons with zip lines up to 160m high and 570m long. Terrifying but exilharating! Google it ;-)
