我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Something that will resonate with me forever, is the first time seeing Claude Monet's signature, just recently in The Metropolitan Museum in NYC. The artwork is so familiar but seeing it in person is absolutely different, seeing the brush strokes and textures, and then in the bottom left his actual painted signature, feeling so close to history was amazing.

Another significant moment also has to do with artwork, over New Years my boyfriend and I travelled to Spain, from Barcelona to the Costa Del Sol. On our last night, after many tumultuous events, we found ourselves just relaxing in Málaga, outdoors in the Plaza de la Merced, eating amazing tapas, wrapped in a scarf from Spain, and smoking sheesha (I don't normally smoke!) right down the street from where Picasso was born. It was just an incredible relaxing moment, intertwined with history, with sights so familiar to an amazing artist. The recognition of being so far from home, and how much there is to see really hit me at that moment.
