I grew up in Boston but have been living in Hawaii for the past year. I work with marine mammals and just spent the past 6 months working with the Hawaiian monk seal on a remote atoll...it was one of the best experiences of my life. I love exploring and any type of outdoor adventure, and try to base most of my travels around that.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to travel and I enjoy meeting new people and sharing stories with them. I'm currently bouncing from place to place, but once I'm more settled I plan to start hosting travelers as well, especially if it helps people save money that can be used for more adventuring.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Back in 2010 I biked from Seattle to Big Sur. I've never been a big biker, and I struggled with back issues for a long time, so it was amazing to finally overcome that. The trip was beautiful, I met so many incredible people, and I fell in love with stealth camping and travel in general. I've pretty much had the travel bug ever since.
