I've done a decent amount of traveling within the United States so far, but I'm definitely wanting to up my game. I like to sing and play piano, guitar and ukulele. I enjoy writing too. Though I've been inconsistent this year, I generally enjoy running. I like my tea to be green and my coffee black.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to meet new people and I want to travel more! After graduating from high school, my best friend and I vowed to plan some sort of extravagant trip to take place after graduating from college. With one year left, we're finally coming up with some concrete details for this trip: We purchased motorcycles and we're going to travel through Canada and many of the western states on a 4-5 week tour. We want to camp a lot along the way, but we're thinking it would be nice to have places to stay every few nights to recharge before continuing the journey. Originally, this meant hotels every few nights. After discovering couchsurfing, we're thinking it would be a great way to meet people from other areas and have more memorable experiences.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I once broke out into a beautifully spontaneous duet with a stranger in a crowded restroom. Though the song was sung from separate stalls, we met each other while washing hands afterwards.

Teach, Learn, Share

As a musical director for the IUPUI a cappella group, I compose musical arrangements and teach others how to perform their parts. I also like to play piano and guitar. So I'd be interested in teaching music to others or collaborating with those who already know how to play!
