I live in the Gold Coast in Australia, but originally from the US (East Coast). I am a seasoned traveler in the sense of seeing the world from a more expansive view beyond just mass media and the 6 O'Clock news. I love people who work at living rather than live to work. My passions are diverse and include: Communicating on a deeper level and working together with people, exploring the outdoors, growing from challenge, physical theatre and circus arts. I love food (vegetarian), I love people (real open minded folk) and well anything dynamic really. I'm find myself busy pushing boundaries to find out whats on the other side....

It's a new thing for me to formally be part of the couch surfing community however I do believe in hosting amazing travelers and the like when the time is right. Interacting with locals is the only way to travel otherwise you might miss the place completely.

Music: Electronic, folk, meaningful, hip hop
Movies: Doco's mainly, the last one I saw was on Marina Ambramovic 'The Artist is Present' man I'm so in love with her at the moment. And I love Italian films they are always so filled with passion. And love a good comedy belly laughs are my favourite.
Books: I have a thing for books like I find it hard to walk into a book store and not walk out with at least one book. And library's are one of my favourite places.

Rode my bike from New York to Maine once. Hitchhiked across US, New Zealand, Australia, Europe and India. Leading groups of young people in developing countries as an expedition leader. Helping people move through their addictions as a case worker.
