Bonjour à vous (Hello guys)

My name is Laurine Gohier, I am a french 19 years old girl from Normandy.
I am a student at Neoma Business School in Rouen (capital city in Normandy youhou) and currently on an exchange for one year in Oslo at the BI Norwegian Business School.

I love doing sport and having challenges that is why I've been swimming in a club for 12 years now. It makes me meet and compete against new people around my country but I am also skiing and learning snowboarding as I really appreciate discovering new ways of enjoying life.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I discovered the concept of Couchsurfing in High School as my teacher wanted us to know that new opportunities to travel were expanding around us.
I immediately thought that it will be a perfect mean of meeting people around me as I assume that to understand the world better we cannot just stay in our own couch watching documentaries on TV but TRUELY by going to someone else's couch listening to his/her vision about our role in the today's society.

I've started to be a surfer quite recently but already had lovely experiences (as well as bad surprises but I assume that this is part of the adventure...).

I don't have a special type of music, I listen to everything, just depends on my mood of the day. But I would say that the metal/hardrock music is defintely not my type music.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Since I am only 19 years old I haven't been living a special adventure, except maybe the fact that I am doing an exchange abroad for one year and this is the best experience I've been through so far!! This is a great opportunity to be more independant and live new adventures such as travelling around the country !

I think the best memories I'll keep in mind from that year will be when I went up North in Norway (Tromso) and saw the Northern Lights as well as enjoying the dog sledding and sleeping in a typical Sami camp.

I am playing the piano since 8 years now so I could show you what I learned so far (If you have a piano ofc) but I would love to learn another instrument so feel free to teach me :)

I would be grateful if my host could show me THE places to be/hang out in her/his city as I assume that this is the best way to live a typical experience and not just only going the most touristic places.
