I’m a happy person because I make myself happy. I talk to strangers because they are interesting. I try to assume that nothing is personal and everyone is just doing their best.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I spent a month a few years back being involuntarily homeless. This sucked, and I was so grateful to the people who let me surf their couches. I wish to pay this forward.

I also love meeting travelers. This is probably the main reason I'm on this site.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I regret to say that I've only ever been the surfer. From sharing a studio with a man and two cats to living on couches myself I haven't had the opportunity to give back YET. That being said, I hope to do three things as a surfer. Bring some joy. Be more help than hindrance. And NEVER overstay my welcome.

Brewing beer, doing SCIENCE, riding my bike to pretty places, traveling, being with friends, making friends of strangers.

Music: Anything I can dance or sing along to. I listen to house, folk, rock, blues, even a little country every now and then.

Living in French Polynesia was cool. I traveled around India by myself. Life is an adventure, and I love it.
