About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Getting rid of the idea that I have a "mission" to achieve... :S

ABOUT ME

I'm such a character... :S (and I hate it...)

PHILOSOPHY

Keep it simple. (Complex is not the same as complicated.)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Spreading the word and sharing all I can offer with the other CSfers.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've been hosting people from Couchsurfing and from a similar and great organization (www.hospitalityclub.org, nickname: lauchis) since 2006.
Now, I'm living in Spain (in Madrid, actually) and I'm oKupating a flat (actually: my sister's flat :P). So, I can't host right now, but I hope to be able to do it on July, when I'll move out to Barcelona. I don't know Madrid that much, but I can try to show you the city through courious and non-resident eyes.

Interests

*Eyes and ears (from humans and... from dogs..., yep...) and belly-buttons! (but just from humans... ;) )

*Literature (any artisitic expression, in general).

*Migration analysis (I think that the free movement of people must be considered as a HUMAN RIGHT, independently of "costs" or "benefits" for their originary places or destination places).

*Beer. :P

*Being helpful for... something (I'm looking for that "something": maybe Couchsurfing will help :P).

Music, Movies, and Books

Eclectic..., or confused? You decide:

Movies: Stalker (Tarcovsky), Amélie (Jeunet), Cidade de Deus (Meirelles), Before Sunset (Linklater), Waking life (Linklater), Blue velvet (Lynch), El milagro de P. Tinto (Fesser), Being John Malkovich (Jonze), Magnolia (P.T. Anderson), 2046 (Kar-Wai), The shining (Kubrick), Underground (Kusturica), Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (Gondry), Amores Perros (González Iñárritu), Zelig (W. Allen).

(And I create a new cathegory ("TV series") because I need to scream: Seinfeld!!!!!!!!)

Books (I'll cheat and I'll mention 15 authors :P): Camus, Pessoa, Borges, Fontanarrosa, Calvino, Vila Matas, Dostovieski, Poe, Pizarnik, Rimbaud, Bukowski, Miguel Hernández, Atahualpa Yupanqui (yep!), Porchia and... Van Gogh (yepppp: "Letters to Theo" is one of my guiding books).

Music: Sigur Rós (but I knew them just few months ago :S), Björk, Radiohead, Noir Desire, Brassens, Renaud, Coldplay, Kevin Johansen, Jorge Drexler, Charly García, Piazzolla, Manu Chao, and a classic british trio: The Beatles, Pink Floyd and The Clash.

Teach, Learn, Share

Ummm...
To teach...: a couple of math curiosities (is there anybody interested on that???)
To learn: wiiiiiu..., WHATEVER YOU WANT!
To share: a couple of laughs, a couple of tears... :), with a couple of coffees or a couple of beers (ohoh, what a stupid rhyme appeared :P ).
