About Me

COUCHSURFERS: Sadly, I'm going back to Argentina on the 3rd of March, and I have to be out of my residence on the 28/02, leaving me no posibility to host after that, and making it difficult before that.

FOR SURFERS
You are warned, send me a copied and pasted request without reading my profile and get a bad reference for free!
I know I'm not the center of the universe, and I don't live right under the Eiffel tower, but I'm recieving requests from people with the same mother language as me, in other languages. They either copy and paste the same message to everyone, or even worse, they don't even look which is your background (country of origin, culture, languages). I don't pretend that you have interest on me as an individual, but at least show some damn effort, take a few minutes to read about who do you want to host you. What's not payed in cash is payed in time.

FOR HOSTS AND SURFERS
I study chemical engineering. I am now in the last year of the career, and I'm participating in an exchange program with Germany, where I'll live (in Esslingen am Neckar, a town near Stuttgart) from September 2018 to February 2019. I like travelling, listening music, playing instruments (For now, I play the guitar, the drums and I sing), learning languages, swimming, biking and hiking. I'm also Beginner Scuba diver, and an environmentalist
I'm a quiet, respectful and tidy person. I do not always have straight answers, but I can usually talk about almost anything

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

In my opinion, the main point of this social media is to help travellers to learn and know about places, their people, their culture, etc. They are going to be submerged in.
I've learnt in my experience here that staying more than just one night (if it's possible, of course) allows both the host and the guest to get a way better exchange, and that many people only look for free accomodation and do not care about this point. Don't send me a request if that is the case. Otherwise, please do, writing "music is the best" (Zappa's quote) somewhere in your first message.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

¿What does amazing really mean?

I've learnt by myself how to play the guitar and to sing, and English (Probably the cause of posible mistakes in my writing).

I was hit by a car at the age of 13 (And apparently, survived).

I've learnt how to ride a bike at the age of 17, and ever since I use it as transport every time I can.

I snorkelled with dolphins and dived with turtles.

I backpacked with my tent in the southwest and northwest of Argentina and in Bolivia before I knew this platform

I've experienced Olinda's (Brazil) Carnival (I've never in my life seen so many people neither in one place nor partying like that time)
I've been also in the Carnival from Köln (Cologne) and in the Oktoberfest and Waisen festivals (now it would be "I've never seen so many people THAT drunk partying in one place")

I've slept with a few friends in the middle of a mountain in Lauterbrunnen, Switzerland with nothing else than a sleeping bag (And it rained, of course), also, we had to climb through a cliff with our backpacks and without any kind of tool but a metal cable

I was pointed with guns and rifles by Brazilian police officers

Still using vinyl discs.

I dismantle almost every broken electronic device, to try to repair it, to see how it works and to keep the still employable parts.

Teach, Learn, Share

There's nothing worth wasting

Language exchange

I can share Music, and teach the little I know about instrument playing.

I can share my experiences, and what I've learnt from them

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm willing to teach anything I know to anyone willing and able to learn it

... No, I do not know how to make meth (Or do I?).

I always read the complete profile of the person when I get or send a hosting request

Have you ever tried mate? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mate_(drink)
