About Me
Hello! Like all Kiwis, I am looking for an adventure! I love to travel, explore the outdoors and experience new cultures. I studied theatre and music at university and now that I have finished, I’m travelling the world. I love meeting new people (and new pets) and having a good time, which is why I’m current solo travelling around the world!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Just got home from my first big trip, and would like to try give more to the couchsurfing community, as much as I can while living with my parents and working nights.

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to a wide variety of music: Fat Freddy’s Drop, Dotan, Mitch James, Hozier, Matt Corby, Dennis Lloyd, Matt Maeson, Kaleo, Ludovico Einaudi, Eric Whitacre, Chet Faker, The Eagles, Police, Dire Straits, Crowded House, Fleetwood Mac to name a few... as well as a lot of film soundtracks (pure genius). I love psychological thrillers and historical drama, as well as sci fi, chick flicks and occasional comedy. Favourite movies include Inception, Shawshank Redemption, Book of Eli, Blood Diamond, anything that makes me think. I’m also currently watching Riverdale, the 100, The Last Kingdom, and Outlander. I’m a big fan of Marvel movies and DC TV shows. Being from NZ I am of course a big Lord of the Rings fan, and I also geek out to Harry Potter, Star Wars and all the cult classic franchises. Currently working my way through a book called The Lumineers.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I once rode a mule into the Himalaya Mountains for 6 days when I was 9 years old.
Teach, Learn, Share
New Zealand is quite a remote country and so what unknown culture we have, we like to share when we can. I come equipped with a few words in Maori (the native NZ language) and I love to sing a Waiata or two.
What I Can Share with Hosts
A passion to look at a sometimes familiar sight, with fresh eyes. A friendly and open kiwi friendship and a truly terrible kiwi accent...
