Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Couchsurfing was for me one of steps to understanding I can be not a rich man but I can traveling, and I can begin right now. It's a great possibility to learn other culture. For me this is the most important thing in travel. It's really wonderful, that a lot of people want to share their home, emotions and life experience. And I'm glad to be part of this as much as I can.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I think it was the summer of 2014 in little town of Georgia near the base of Free University I've lived in. The thunder-storm came. In dispute with myself I have crossed the field and have reached the suburb of the village. I wanted to go down to church which was visible from my window. I was helped by the local who knew only Georgian which wasn't known at all by me. We have reached church and have even got under a dome, and then have gone back. He was so kind that has brought me through fields to the place I lived. I would never make it one in gloomy Georgian night. I remember this young man with gratitude still now.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I live at the communal appartment. There are also three persons in two rooms except me and my room. They are at their jobs all the working days, but you maybe should wait for take the shower of for cooking in the morning from 7 to 9 at in the evening before 9 p.m.

My very little room allows me to host only ONE person.

I could explain all you need and to take a walk around the city with you. I can do it if you pleqse even without hosting.

I live in the center of St. Petersburg, on Vasilyevsky Island, near Academy of Arts. There is five minutes on foot to Kunstkamera, 15 minutes to the Hermitage, 10 minutes to the nearest metro station, one minute to a bus stop and two minutes to the view at movable bridges.
