About Me
My background is about as complicated as it gets. I'm originally from India but when asked, I say I'm from California. During my adolescence, I lived everywhere from Japan (Tokyo) to Australia (Melbourne). I study international law at Georgetown University in Washington, D.C. and I'm currently studying abroad in Rabat, Morocco.
Hobby-wise, I enjoy reading (Harry Potter is my absolute fave and I'll never outgrow it), travel, languages, food (I'd go so far as to say I'm a bit of a foodie, and I have been known to bake whenever I have access to a kitchen), snail mail (I regularly write to my friends), street art, and tea.
As for dislikes, I hate stairs (for legitimate medical reasons), but other than that I'm a pretty positive person.
In case you're interested, my Insta is lava1710. I've been (attempting to) post more quality travel-related photos lately.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've spent the past year saving up so that I can travel during my year of study abroad. However the cost of travel expenses means that I don't have too much left over for accommodation, so when my friend mentioned Couchsurfing I decided I'd give it a try. So far, I've found that it's a wonderful way to meet new people and see a local's perspective of their city. I love meeting new people and finding common interests :)
