Hello everyone! My name is Lavien and I am from Southern California, United States. I have been very blessed to live in such a beautiful place. I am a student currently working on a nursing degree and I am passionate about helping others in my career. Before I go to nursing school I want to travel and explore new places, and meet new people. Life is so short and I feel like I am missing out staying in one location when there is so much beauty in the world. Beautiful places, cultures, and people!

Pourquoi je suis sur Couchsurfing

I am on Couchsurfing because I want to meet new people, travel to new places, and explore different cultures. I have couchsurfed a couple times now and I love it! I love meeting new hosts and other couchsurfers and I can say they have made a positive impact in my life. I love to hear people’s stories and gain new perspectives and see how other people live.

I am making an effort to live a humble and simple lifestyle and I am not too good to sleep on a couch in order to really see how the locals live! I believe that sometimes the beauty and culture of "touristy" locations can get lost with the crowds and love when a local resident tells me the best spots and even shows me around. I am new to couch surfing and hope to meet more and more people!
