About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To see the world!

ABOUT ME

I lived in the Philippines for two years of my adult life and I realized there that everyone has something that they can teach others. I often met men and women with no formal education, but all of them had some area that they could teach me from. I knew nothing about fishing or growing rice, but they did and they were happy to share. This is how I like to live my life. I want to give what I have learned and take time to learn from others.

PHILOSOPHY

I have never meet someone who could not teach me something, all members of mankind are of great worth.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have ridden elephants in Malaysia, caught a giant King Salmon in Kodiak Alaska, swam in the Amazon River, jumped off waterfalls in the Philippines, breathed fresh air from Machu Picchu, kissed my wife on top of the Eiffel Tower, watched the sunset over the great pyramids, thrown tomatoes in the streets of Spain, climbed the Great Wall of China,Rode a camel to Petra, bathed in the Dead Sea, went sailing in Sydney Harbor, Prayed at the Wailing Wall, had great sushi in Japan, got lost in Venice, played in a rain-forest in Puerto Rico, stood in awe at the Taj Mahal, lived through rock slides high in the Himalayas in Nepal, drove 150 MPH on the autobahn, had a great waffle in Belgium, visited the shire to see Bilbo Baggins house, spent too much money in Dubai, explored a salt mine in Krakow, shed a tear at Auschwitz, did the running of the bulls in Pamplona twice, had some great baklava in Istanbul, marveled at the Moai of Easter Island, watched the sunrise over Angkor Watt, ate too much in Thailand, got sick in Singapore, watched the sunset over Santorini Island in Greece, but of none of these things could compare to holding each of my children for the first time.

Teach, Learn, Share

I speak English, Tagalog, Cebuano, and Waray-Waray. I love to share my cooking skills from the Philippines and my languages as well. I would love to learn to cook a dish from every place we visit.
