ABOUT ME
My sister says, "Greg is a really awesome guy. He's an amazing musician, great cook, good company, and a virtual machine when it comes to spell-checking my rough drafts".
I consider myself a curious though sometimes withdrawn, fun-loving person, eager to experience everything.
PHILOSOPHY
Do things for their own sake.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am new to the network, but eager to host when I settle down this fall.
In the meantime, August 6th to September 20th, I'm attempting a cross-country roam-around along the Amtrak Empire Express train route through Minnesota, North Dakota, Montana, Idaho, Seattle, and then a peregrination to the musky, exuberant capitol of love, San Fran, before bounding back to sacred Olive Street of San Luis Obispo. With blessings from the bicycle gods, I hope to complete some of this journey under my own metabolic steam.

Interests
Environmentalism, humanitarianism, art therapy, music, poetry, prophesy, outdoors, medicine, vegetarianism, drug-free lifestyle, Buddhism, anarchism, vagabonds, the girl who blushed when she dropped her broom, aged piano tuners and their freshly tuned instruments, cats of every background and nature, doing things I'm not good at, the polish worn off headstones, woods of every wavey grain, not knowing who or where or when or even what for that matter and especially not blasphemous why, 'lush' red hair, words that don't quite reach.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
"A berry ripening in the wilderness." It was a raspberry, though it wouldn't have answered kindly to that name, and my sister ate it without a hint of mercy.
The glorious mess of a kitchen on Rosh Hashanah.
And just about every little thing besides.
Teach, Learn, Share
I want to learn everything there is to know about soup, soup, soup.
In return I offer my vast knowledge of open-faced sandwiches.
I love making no sense too, without boundaries, and would be glad to assist any willing parties in their pursuit of it.
