About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To have no regrets
ABOUT ME
Laura- I am generous, adaptable, easy going and will try most anything once! I love to travel, dance, take pictures, drink exotic beers, taste new food, do nothing at all, hike, swim, read, spend time with loved ones, plan new ways to live my life, shock people and act like a big goof.
PHILOSOPHY
My philosophy has always been to have no regrets. I want to be old looking back on my life and feel content that I did everything I could to make it a great one. I don't want to work everyday for no reason. I want to spend my time doing things that make me happy, spend time with the people that are important to me and do things now instead of later. My purpose right now is to be more spontaneous and to have more memorable experiences.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
We are beginners. We had one very nice couple stay with us and it was a great experience. I enjoyed being able to show who we are to strangers and forming friendships with people that you may not have been able to meet. I loved being able to share what we have and learn about new cultures. We look forward to sharing new experiences and meeting new people.
Interests
Travelling is my interest. Sometimes it is all I can think about. I am constantly planning where I can travel next, how much time I can get off from work, finding ways to live without things that we don't need so that I can save up money to travel. I also love learning new skills, finding out new things about myself that I didn't know existed, taking pictures, hanging out with friends and going to my cottage.

Music, Movies, and Books
My interests are constantly developing. I love being introduced to new artists/djs. I love movies and I watch tons of them. I haven't had tv for years now and started going to the library to fill my movie obsession.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Traveled around in the Balkans with no clear plan of what to do and had the best time. Also got engaged in the Croatian city of Split. We rarely make plans when travelling as we like to be spontaneous and happen upon things by chance but we would like to couch surf so a little more planning may be needed.
Teach, Learn, Share
My husband Phil has practical skills as a contractor. I am good at decorating. We have a lot of experience with renovations and houses. We have lived many different ways to sacrifice so that we can do everything we wish to do. Last year we lived in our living room while we rented our upstairs to students. This afforded an amazing trip to Croatia, Paris and London. We can share our crazy ideas with you.
