Travel is great!!! I lived abroad when was younger in London, England and Málaga, Spain, already visited 40 countries, received lots of friends here in my place and also stayed in their homes all around the world before Couchsurfing. In Brazil, as a big country, travelling here inside is a challenge and I´m glad I´ve been in almost all states. Now I´d love to share good conversations with people here in this CS community.

With my wife, we love to travel by car when we have the opportunity (that´s why we know almost all states in Brazil). I work as a University Teacher in Marketing and Business giving classes in graduation and post-graduation and also we own a small confectionery (candy shop) specialized in wedding cakes and sweets.

We love to cook, it´s always a pleasure when we have the opportunity and time to do, hope to learn different recipes!

Married, no kids (yet). If you want to stay in our place, read our rules in "My Home" section. Guests are welcome to my place!

As a couch, we will be very respectful, love to share good conversations. We are very used to cook in our friend´s places, we will be glad to cook for you if you like! And more: we are very clean, organized and trustworthy. Just remembering: we love kids and pets!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I lived once abroad, so I´d love to receive guests from all over the world. Even if we have the opportunity to stay in a hotel, couchsurfing may be our way of life!

One important thing to do when travelling is to live the local life. Meeting local people is the best way to have this experience.

Interests

I always plan to visit different restaurants and try foods around the world. Visit different countries, share experiences, visit beautiful places. Of course, teaching in also one of my passions!

If you come to our place and the schedule is OK, we will be happy to drive you by car showing some nice and known places in São Paulo, hope to have enough time to do it!

Music, Movies, and Books

All kinds of music. We have a film collection with almost 1.000 DVD´s.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Cooking different recipes. Making barbecues. Going hang gliding. Travelling once to Ushuaia, Tierra del Fuego in Argentina by car, driving almost 17.000km. Driving another trip with almost 10.000km visiting all the brazilian coast. And lots of others driving trips. Travelling to different countries and languages. Winning about $10 in a casino and be happy. Being in the middle of an earthquake in Quito, Ecuador. Eating local food. Helping people. Speaking different languages and meeting people from all over the world. Working in six different universities. Making cookies, cakes and sweets to our customer´s weddings. When we see a pet, cheer with it. Having lunch with our parents, relatives and friends. Cooking for them. Being gentle. Being strong. Life is short and we have to take advantage of all single minute to be a better person for your family and yourself. I´m still in this journey!

What I Can Share with Hosts

Recipes, experiences and friendship. Show some brazilian traditions. If you like, go together to a supermarket to by a bootle of "cachaça" as a brazilian souvenir. We will try to make you as confortable as possible. We also help you with information about security here in São Paulo, places to go, things to do, foods to eat.
