Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I plan on travelling overseas during my gap year to volunteer and learn more about people and places as well as participating in film making.I found that planning ahead and meeting people before hand on this website would be a great idea. Plus, meeting new people is always fun.

Interests

I enjoy films, writing films and poetry, painting and animals. I like to study history a lot. I like having a good debate about anything really. My passion is second hand shopping and buying vinyls. I love looking at oddities and weird stuff, things like post mortem photography you know?

Music, Movies, and Books

I really couldn't choose a favourite movie, but I do like the Virgin Suicides (as both a book and film). I like the Kooks and The Runaways a lot and small Australian bands. ABBA is a guilty pleasure and so are any Meryl Streep films. My favourite book is The Secret History by Donna Tartt. My favourite film is Natural Born Killers

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have yet to do anything as amazing as the stories I've read on this site. I hope that within my years of travel, I do something incredible enough to share with everyone else.
