About Me
A friend once told me I'm a lot more goofy than expected. I'm rather introverted but not socially awkward. I'm interested in nice, intelligent, happy people and like spending my time in togetherness. Together with me you can enjoy some awesome comfortable silences and equally pleasant conversations. The Dutch culture inevitably has defined me as blunt and open-minded. I'm rather naive so get ready to pull a lot of jokes on me!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
To host and get hosted. To meet new people. To visit new places and really be there.
To get to know a new place through the people who define it.

Music, Movies, and Books
Uff, let's just exchange these recommendations along the way shall we? It's too harsh to pick favorites. To give an indication of my taste:
Movies: Dogville, Spirited away, Another year
Books: The discovery of heaven (Harry Mulisch), Is this a human (Primo Levi), The kiterunner (Khaled Hosseini)
Music: Waldeck, Racoon, Zaz, Mozart, Vivaldi, Stevie Wonder
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Organized a dinner in the dark for 100 guests, from scratch, for charity. It was challenging, a great collaboration and loads of fun.
Teach, Learn, Share
Here comes the only quote I ever remember:
When life gives you lemons, say fuck those lemons and bail.
