About Me

CURRENT MISSION
[Since I moved to Jordan I got a lot of requests from single Arab men to be hosted so my response rate is about 0%, and I have for now changed my profile to not hosting. I will still consider hosting women travelling by themselves, so send me a message if you're headed for Amman :)

I'm not against hosting guys, Arab or European, unfortunately, it seems quite a few profiles on CS seem to have been created by people looking to date - which is not what CS is for.]

ABOUT ME

I'm a sometimes quiet and serious person, but once you get to know me a little I can be great fun too. My passion is travelling and politics.. so hit on any of those subjects and I'll be talking like crazy.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

January 2010
Back home for a while now, accidently met some couchsurfers in Aleppo and had fun parties with them. Also travelled to Lebanon with one of them. Really looking forward to more couchsurfing experience.

July 2010
Just had my first people over as a host, Sam and Maddi from Australia, and it was great fun. Looking forward to hosting more people this summer. Though i'll be gone a lot myself.

May 2011
Well, seems like as I don't get many requests I'm not on here a lot during the year, except for summer. Do hope to host some people again! Was great fun.

February 2014
Didn't get to travel like a backpacker in a while, instead lived in Libya for 6 months to teach English. But when I was in Amman after that I met some fun people to hang out with through couchsurfing!

Mostly read Sci-Fi and fantasy stuff. Taste in music is very diverse, from rock or jazz to classical.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Sarajevo really amazed me. The resilience of it's inhabitants and the remnants of the war really hit home with me and changed my perspective on the world and the role individuals have in the world.

It kicked of my desire for travel and I have since been to most of the Middle East and even ended up moving to the Middle East.
