About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Explore this world learning as much as I can on the way and benefiting those I interact wth as much as possible in harmony with my surroundings

ABOUT ME

I'm addicted to learnng, experimenting, and experiencing. I love to actively explore this world around me with all my senses and wonder engaged. So I like to move around and function in whatever ways I can be helpful while learning whatever amazing offerings each culture/place/person I encounter has to share.

PHILOSOPHY

Here we are for now, lucky us! Let's make the absolute most of it. I am very lucky to find myself overwhelmed with how much I love everything around me so often, and I just try like hell to reflect that luck in all my interactions. Sometimes, though, I'm just an idiot (which helps me better tolerate fellow idiots).

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love finding ways to positively interact with everything around me. I'm happy to help cook and bake very healthy feel good food, clean up: big projects & just picking up around the house, give massages, manual labor, wait/bus tables, piece work, watch/teach/entertain kids, walk/play with care for pets (I've cared for lizards, birds, dogs, cats, scorpions, snakes, (and all their living food). I love new experiences and learn pretty quickly so I'd be happy to learn how to lend a helping hand doing something totally new. I have experience teaching English, Math, and Science to students from grades K-College. I love showing people around Bangkok and all the places I've explored. I'm new to Couchsurfing.org, so I haven't done anything here yet, although I've been pretty much following the principles all my life.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies - stupid comedies through deep, intense, thought-provoking artsy fartsy films. Pretty much anything that isn't annoyingly typical.
Books - I like to be open to all different stuff and find connections where I otherwise wouldn't sticking to titles that interest me. Mostly I like books that stretch my thinking in ways it wouldn't normally go anytime soon.
Music of all sorts - especially silly experimental stuff, old & new; anything not too repetitive

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have seen Noah's Ark sail down a canal in Amsterdam while sitting in a tram with a friend completely sober.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: English, Math, Biology, Chemistry, Exam Preparation, Cooking/Baking, Massage
Learn: Fly jet, sail ship, alternative medicine, nursing, envro-friendly agriculture, eco-building, diy stuff, music (pretty much anything), physical education of all sorts - martial arts, dance styles, yoga, etc.
