About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Live love, love life.
ABOUT ME
My passions include cities, community gardening and local food. Minneapolis is my first love, and due to my studies I know a lot about the area's history and what's going on around here. I recently from the University of Minnesota with a degree in Urban Studies and minors in Sustainability and Geography. I am an open-minded and liberal person. You could call me an environmentalist. I love cooking, laughing and good conversation.
From May to August my (now-ex)boyfriend Charlie and I were traveling on the West Coast. Check out our trip at http://westcoastorbust.livejournal.com
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
When I'm home in Minneapolis I can give some great info about the city and it's history. Plus discussions on sustainiblity, food and gardening.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Used couchsurfing when I was buming around the West Coast. Love it!
Interests
I love food and gardening and urban things. I especially like the intersection of those three: urban agriculture, community gardening, local food, equal food access, community kitchens, free food, sharing meals, canning, pickling, brewing beer, etc.
I like craft-y and art-y type things, too, though I am not as skilled in these areas: sewing, carpentry, sculpture, photography

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I took a sweet trip down the West Coast with my (now ex) partner Charlie for four months. Lots of couchsurfing and craigslist rideshares! What a wonderful experience!
Teach, Learn, Share
I know about Minneapolis/St.Paul, gardening, cooking, beer and beer brewing, local food, organic farms, sustainability, community gardening, some local non-profits and community organizers.
I don't like putting a dollar value on everything. Food waste, free food and food access are important issues to me and would love to connect with more people doing good work in those areas.
