About Me

I learned about CS after I started travelling and I'm so thankful I tried it. I've had such an amazing experiences from CS, I am excited to start hosting once I have my own place back at home. I've already made plans with my former hosts to have a place for them when they come visit ;P

I travelled solo for about a year and was so taken aback by the awesomeness of it, I ended up on the road for two years, ending in November 2016. During this time, my boyfriend joined, Shawn (https://www.couchsurfing.com/users/2000496355)and together, we explore the world!

We are very flexible and considerate travelers and our most important thing is to meet people who are as curious as us, love to share stories/ culture, and laugh and eat.

I became very curious about traveling when I met tons of backpackers in hostels. I heard so many "I liked it here, so I stayed and it's been 6 months". I was so envious how carefree they were and were just simply doing what they wanted. I'm so proud and thankful I listened to my heart and took the plunge to leave Toronto and explore!

What I LOVE
- randomness and going off on a tangent
- being healthy and active
- laughing
- hearing your story (and I'll ask tons of questions)
- learning
- boardgames/cardgames

What I'm not so good at
- drinking. I'm not a partyer or hardcore drinker. I do enjoy the occasional glass of wine though ;)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to meet people from all over the world. I love getting to know people who grew up in a different environment from myself.

I enjoy sharing my story and hearing about yours. I have already met people with the biggest hearts. It's a solid reminder of all the goodness and generosity in this world.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My two year expedition to see the world!

Climbing Kilimanjaro
Sticking it out when I miss my friends and family at home
Daring to challenge myself physically, emotionally, searching for the real me!

Teach, Learn, Share

TEACH
I can teach you a little about playing Ultimate Frisbee. This is a passion of mine and I'll be ready to toss or play anytime, anywhere.

I love to cook and back home, I generally lead a pretty healthy lifestyle. I try to find healthier alternatives and it comes out pretty good. I've had some critics try my culinary skills.

LEARN
I picked up photography after I started this trip. I have a Panasonic Lumiz LX7. Not hugely technical, but a good starter camera. I'm also into learning anything that involves being active or creating things with my hands. I'm not that creative, but can follow manuals and instructions well. :)

I also experiment with cooking at home and I miss that so much. I would love to have the opportunity to cook different cultural foods, anytime.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Of course, my travel story and how it has changed me..and not. I love to cook so I'm always up for cooking for you.
