I am well rounded individual, I love to travel (been to 62 countries). I love different cultures, languages, people, history, music, etc.
I don't like discrimination, bigotry, racism, homophobia, misogyny, transphobia or any kind of abuse (especially of human rights).
I grew up in Cuba and escaped to the USA on a boat with my family. I have lived all over the USA - including Florida (Miami -Ft Lauderdale area and also Gainesville). I have also lived in Berkeley/San Francisco (California), Dallas (Texas), New York City (Manhattan), and Los Angeles - West Hollywood (California).
I have also lived in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. I now live all over... Mostly in Melbourne, Australia, sometimes in London or Spain.
I work all over the world - a lot with and in China... Shanghai is also a bit of home for me. Love Beijing and Hong Kong too - Taiwan too!!
I am trying to learn Chinese (Mandarin) and Japanese - and Italian!
I have a BS in Journalism from the University of Florida and a Certificate in Latin American Studies.
I have an MBA in Marketing and International Business from New York University - Stern School of Business.
I have a Masters of Arts in Film and TV Producing from the Australian Film Television and Radio School (AFTRS, in Sydney, Australia).

So many! OMG I LOVE all music, love music festivals, concerts... varied taste: classical, rap, electronic, blues, rock, dance, Latin, international, R&B, country... LOVE all music!
Was at Laneway Festival in Brisbane - Loved Hermitude, Grimes, Chvrches, Internet (with Kaytranada), Purity Ring.
Movies: I am a film fanatic... I'm a film producer and have many made award winning short films. I also produce a television travel series.
Too many films I love to list: Central Station (Brazilian film fanatic), Anjos da Noite, Xica da Silva, Ele o Boto, O Cortico, etc. Also love Spanish films (Almodovar!), USA films... films with food themes (Babette's Feast, Like Water for Chocolate, etc), Gay/Lesbian films, etc etc etc...
Books - same, too many to mention... One of the best: "Middle Sex", also "Before Night Falls" - so ME in so many ways.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Skydive (highest jump in Australia!).
Dive in Uepi - Solomon Islands - where the Wall is from Finding Nemo.
Be a Jenga champion/master.
Win three medals in international cycling - Gold and Bronze in road races, and Silver in Mountain/Off Track.
Set a record at the rowing gym.
I like to explore and do everything!
Represent Australia with one of my shorts at an international retrospective at NYC's Museum of Modern Art - I gave the speech there.
