CURRENT MISSION
Adventures can happen at home
ABOUT ME
I'm not easily flustered. I like to take things in stride and try not to get to worked up over little things. I'm honest about my boundaries and like to open conversations about almost anything. I'm a hell of a cook but hate the clean up so cooking is a special event.
PHILOSOPHY
Be good. Do good. Always try your best. And have a little faith in the unknown. I've found that if you follow these simple steps it's easier to take pride in who you are regardless of what the world says.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I just started this adventure so I haven't really had a chance to participate yet. I'm looking forward to some summer events.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have yet to couch surf or have any surfers.
Interests
My pets are a large part of my life. They are not my children but I do converse with them as if they were human. It's just wishful thinking that one day they'll turn around and actually respond appropriately. I'm in school and don't think I'll ever be done with it. I love doing art. Sewing and painting mostly since they're the most readily available without super pricey/space devouring equipment.

Music, Movies, and Books
Ann Rand, Patricia C Wrede, Tamora Pierce and other strong female authors. Male authors too but I can remember these ladies names off the top of my head. Science fiction/fiction in general. 40's-60's era music though I won't turn down music in general. Any movie genre excluding horror are A-OK in my book.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I went with my sister to the monkey forest in Bali. The old ruins there are intense and leave you breathless. The heat does too but the ruins really take it out of you.
When I was on a foreign exchange program to Germany while in high school we visited this little church in the middle of no where. I don't remember the name but I think it translated to "church in the meadow". Either way it was breathtaking. The amount of artistry and work that went into that church was extraordinary. And it was offset amazingly by the little sunday school drawings tucked away on the back bulletin board.
