About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Find snow, the best, deepest, best park, best terrain... Just good overall scene. Oh wait, thats Whistler, but still want to travel anyway

ABOUT ME

Vincent doesn't talk about himself in the third person but he will make an exception for this. He is a very chill person, letting the flow take him where he needs to be. A bit shy on the side, he gets easily convinced in all sorts of shenanigans. If you want to know more about him, there is only one way to find out...

PHILOSOPHY

I'd say you have to live and let live... but some people just don't have any respect and you have to show them how to behave a bit...

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've done a few years as a ski bum, bumming couches of friends, appreciating the nomad life, now it is time to give back to the world.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

If you've ever been in Whistler, couch surfing in staff housing is kind of a must... But not everyone is cut to do that, either as a couch surfer or an host. Now I have a big house in Whistler and we host a lot of couchsurfers from everywhere, sometimes hosting travelers, sometimes helping newcomers...

Interests

Ski, soccer, philosophy, gaming, bike, Whiffle golf, a little bit of everything.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like medias where you actually learn something from the time spent reading/watching/listening.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

After a year and half of college I decided to take a winter off to try working as a ski instructor... 13 years later I am truly grateful I did. I got to travel a little doing what I love, met some wonderful people from all around the world and ended up in Paradise :)For my 30th, I've got to teach skiing on 3 continents and ski over 200 days! What a great year filled with great new encounters.

Teach, Learn, Share

I know how to crochet but hardly ever have the time anymore...
I have a master in sneak-o-logy.
I am also offering my services as an ex-ski instructor/coach but that's my job and I'm pretty expensive :P
