About Me

I'm a filmmaker/cartoonist/writer who isn't particularly productive but I know how to fill my time with unfulfilling employment. Jobs I've had include caricature artist, IMAX projectionist, PowerPoint operator and corporate trainer. Hopefully next on the list: Zamboni driver?

I'll try anything once. Get me a Zamboni.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've been couchsurfing every time I've traveled since 2006. During a 22-country trip in 2012, I attended Couchsurfing meetings such cities as Budapest and Ljubljana, where very patient couchsurfers feigned admiration of my vast knowledge of stupid unimportant minutiae.

CouchSurfing has served me well in Brazil, Mexico, Northern Ireland, France, Hungary, Slovenia and Hong Kong. Like a good world citizen, I hope to continually add to that list.

Interests

I love movies, both cerebral and stupid. I eat almost any food, and sometimes I eat things that are not food. I have a remedial understanding of quantum mechanics. I enjoy dumpster diving in theory but not in practice. Occasional civil disobedience includes strongly-worded letters to CEOs which fell behind the bed and never got sent.
